Choose the convenience of renting, the long-term value of ownership, or installation using decorations you already have.
1. Seasonal rental
We supply the approved lighting, install it, provide the agreed in-season service, and return for removal. Glowchester retains ownership and the equipment is collected after the season.
Best for: a turnkey display without buying or storing lights.
2. Buy and own
Purchase a custom-fitted commercial-grade lighting package through us. The first-season proposal can include installation and removal. Future installation and removal are booked separately.
Best for: repeat seasonal installations and long-term ownership.
3. Use your own decorations
Already have LED strands, icicle lights, wreaths, garland, or lawn decorations? Send photos and a description. We inspect and test customer-provided items and quote labor, mounting materials, and removal as applicable.
Best for: homeowners who love their current decorations but want professional help.
Customer-supplied lighting requirements: Items must be listed/labeled for their intended indoor or outdoor use, in safe working condition, compatible with available electrical power, and suitable for secure installation. We may decline damaged, overloaded, incompatible, or unsafe items. Replacement bulbs, cords, clips, troubleshooting, and removal may be additional charges. We cannot guarantee the performance or lifespan of customer-owned products.

What's the difference between rental and ownership?
With rental, Glowchester retains ownership of the lights and provides the agreed seasonal service. With ownership, you purchase the lighting package and can book installation and removal service in future years.
Do you remove the lights after the holidays?
Yes. Post-season removal is included in our initial packages and scheduled under your written agreement.
Can I get an estimate from a photo?
Often we can provide a preliminary range from photos and property information. Final quotes depend on verified measurements and safe access.
What areas do you serve?
All of Westchester County and select Rockland communities, including Nyack, Pearl River, Nanuet, New City and Suffern, depending on route and scheduling.
Do you handle electrical work?
Our standard packages assume suitable existing exterior power. Any new circuits, outlets, or other regulated electrical work require separately arranged appropriately licensed electrical services.
Can you install lights and decorations I already own?
Yes, subject to an inspection of their condition, outdoor ratings, power requirements, and mounting suitability. We can quote installation-only service, with removal as a separate or bundled line item.
What if my existing lights stop working?
We can inspect or troubleshoot on request. Replacement parts, additional labor, and repairs to customer-owned lighting are not automatically included. Unsafe or damaged equipment may need to be replaced before installation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We plan to offer convenient electronic payments and cards where activated, plus check, bank transfer, and Zelle when verified. Your written proposal confirms available methods and any lawful fees before payment.
Do I have to buy lights from Glowchester?
No. You can rent our professional lighting, purchase a new package, or ask us to install suitable decorations you already own.
Do you install commercial displays?
Select small commercial properties may be quoted after reviewing access, power, schedule, and insurance requirements.
When do you take the decorations down?
Removal dates are scheduled in the written agreement, generally after the holiday season and subject to weather and safe access.
Do you offer a first-time customer discount?
Yes. New customers can request $100 off a first installation of $995 or more using code FIRSTGLOW100. Valid on qualifying pre-tax installation service totals for bookings confirmed by December 15, 2026. One per property, cannot be combined with other offers, and subject to availability.
Can I pay with Klarna or Afterpay?
We are exploring third-party buy-now-pay-later providers. These methods are not yet available. If activated, eligibility, financing terms, and checkout options will be determined by the payment provider.
Can you store my decorations?
Storage for Glowchester-owned rental lighting is included in the rental model. Customer-owned lighting storage is not currently included and may be considered separately by written agreement.
What happens if a bulb goes out during the season?
For Glowchester-supplied rental displays, agreed in-season maintenance is part of the seasonal package. Customer-owned products and purchased systems have different service terms, specified in your proposal.
Can you do commercial or HOA displays?
We can review select storefronts, small commercial properties, and HOA/common-area displays subject to access, power, insurance, and scheduling.
Do you accept small jobs or single decorations?
Yes. You can request a quote for a wreath, a porch, a few light strands, a small tree or several inflatables. We price smaller projects based on travel, setup time, access and any materials; a minimum service-call charge may apply.
Can you install inflatable Christmas decorations?
Yes, for suitable inflatables and lawn decorations. We review safe anchoring, outdoor-rated power, cord routing, clearance and manufacturer instructions. Installation and optional removal are quoted; severe weather or unsafe site conditions may limit placement.
Do you install smart or app-controlled holiday lights?
We can evaluate compatible color-changing, programmable and app-controlled products. Available features depend on the equipment, wireless signal, electrical supply and manufacturer. We do not promise integration with every smart-home system.
Do you offer permanent outdoor lighting?
We can consult on year-round architectural and permanent roofline lighting projects and provide a custom quote after evaluating the property, product and mounting requirements. Any new circuits or regulated electrical work must be performed by an appropriately licensed professional.
Do you serve Rockland County?
We serve all of Westchester and consider select Rockland communities such as Nyack, Pearl River, Nanuet, New City, West Nyack and Suffern. Availability and any travel charges are confirmed in the quote.
Does the $100 discount apply to a small job?
The FIRSTGLOW100 welcome promotion is limited to first-time customers with qualifying pre-tax installation service totals of $995 or more, subject to the published promotion terms. Smaller jobs are welcome but do not qualify unless their eligible total reaches that threshold.
